It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of Markethill High School. We are a child-centred, all-ability school which creates, shapes, and supports happy and successful pupils through an essential fusion of academic and pastoral excellence.
Our 5 core values of honesty, kindness, positivity, resilience, and respect, work in partnership with our motto of ‘Believe to Achieve’ and our newly adopted strapline of ‘Mind Heart Soul’. In Markethill High School, we want pupils to use their minds each day. We want them to flourish as well rounded, knowledge rich pupils who succeed in the pathways of their choosing. We want pupils to think with their hearts. We want them to be kind, caring, honest and trustworthy citizens, and most of all, we want them to think, lead and react with their soul each day. We want them all to be content in their own skin, independent, brave, courageous, and strong in faith.
