Markethill High School launches consultation on new 3-Year School Development Plan
Markethill High School is about to embark on consultation for its new 3-year School Development Plan, which will outline the vision for school development until the year 2021. The School believes that the 2018-2021 timeframe will be one of the most important and exciting in its history.
In line with the above, the school has just published a consultation document which outlines the current context and emerging vision for school development in 5 key areas:

Quality of Curriculum
Planning, Learning, Teaching and Assessment
Leadership
Pastoral Care and Safeguarding

As part of the consultation process, Markethill High School would like to initiate a working group comprising of school stakeholders, including parents, to review the emerging vision in detail and give feedback. This working group will most likely meet over 4-5 evenings between April and August 2018. It will involve presentations from key staff on each section, opportunities for questioning and a forum to give the school constructive feedback on its development. The School would very much welcome parental engagement through this panel.
