Congratulations to Jodie McMullan in Year 9 who finished second in the 100m breaststroke at the Swim Ulster School's Championships at the Aurora Complex in Bangor. She took 2.5sec off her personal best, but unfortunately narrowly missed out on gold position this year. Her placing has now qualified her to be part of Ulster's Inter Pro Team which will train and then head to Dublin in May to take on Munster, Connacht, and Leinster in the all-Ireland school final.
Jessica McMullan in Year 10 also had a great time at the gala representing the school in the 15-16 year age group. She swam really well in the 100m butterfly and in the 100m free where she missed out on a place in the final by 0.02sec. This left her finishing 11th overall.
We are very proud of both girls.
